Reed Facilities have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Yardman with both Counterbalance and Reach licence.
Monday to Thursday 6am – 4pm Friday 6am – 2pm (must be flexible)
Temporary to Permanent
Location: Chatham Docks
£23,000 - £27,000 dependent on experience
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintaining yard organisation.
- Maintaining yard cleanliness.
- Loading outbound lorries.
- Unloading inbound lorries.
- Allocating stock/materials.
- Operate forklifts and side loaders.
- Job picking materials.
Experience:
- Factory experience: 2 years recommended
- Ability to lift heavy objects when required.
- Forklift license: B2 and SL (counterbalance and reach)
- Personal transport: Required (car, motorcycle, Bicycle)
Skillset and Capabilities:
- Demonstrate good communication skills.
- Work well in a small team.
- Be able to demonstrate good levels of self-organisation and effective time management.
- Determined to achieve daily tasks.
- Good attendance and excellent punctuality in the workplace.
- Maintain concentration on safety hazards when operating machinery.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to carry out loading operations whenever required.
The ideal candidate will be committed, have a good work ethic, be flexible, reliable, long term career aspirations and have a Counterbalance and Reach licence with experience.
