Would you like to play a vital role in ensuring our students have the best possible learning experience throughout their time with us?

We are able to offer a number of positions based in our Academic Faculty and Central Registry Service teams aimed at ensuring students have a rewarding and positive student learning experience. As member of the academic administration service teams you would work closely with colleagues in a range of roles ensuring student information is recorded and processed accurately and effectively and assisting students with any queries they may have about their studies.

As a member of the university community, you would have access to a number of benefits including an occupational pension scheme, annual leave starting at 25 days leave for some working full time (pro rata for part time) with additional leave for public and bank holidays and additional leave days over Christmas. There would also be the opportunity to access a wide range of development and training opportunities, including professional standards qualifications to support your personal and professional learning. We are also able to offer a wide range of flexible working options such as part time, hybrid working (working from home) and annualised or “term time” working.

We are looking for people who are organised and methodical, can respond flexibly to changing priorities and have a commitment to maintaining and improving our students learning experience. Being able to operate effectively in a team environment is key but we are also looking for people who are willing to use their own initiative to achieve positive work outcomes

To apply you will need to hold GCSE standard or equivalent qualifications, have a reasonable level of computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office and have recent experience in jobs with an administrative and customer service focus. Experience of administrative support in an educational setting and/or with an IT records system would be an advantage but is not essential.
