Account Manager (PR, Press, Public Relations)

After a successful year and recent account wins our client is looking for a capable, creative and enthusiastic new team member to join their PR and communications team.
The new recruit will have the opportunity to work on some amazing projects for established Global and Pan European brands, as well as exciting new start-ups with a strong environmentally sustainable focus.
The company generate exceptional coverage through worldwide media relationships, as well as helping clients engage with target audiences on social media.
Based in a lovely, leafy site in Kent the company provide a competitive salary, private health insurance, plus a personalised training and development plan. They also offer an optional innovative scheme giving each employee every fourth Friday off.
They are flexible regarding home-working, but to enable you to develop, learn from senior members of the team and progress they do advise a minimum of 2 days office-based activity. More would be preferred if possible.
Experience and Skills
*PR, Journalism, English, or similar degree (or equivalent)
*Exceptional writing skills (50% of role)
*Experience working in a PR agency
*Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and journalist.
Interviews will be 2 stages including a test. This can all be conducted virtually.
