LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT

£19,468 - £19,831 including SEN Allowance (Actual 41 week salary)

37.5 hours per week, 41 weeks per year

As part of the 41 weeks, the post holder will be required to commit to two weeks Short Term break care work during school holidays.

Bradstow is a creative and unique residential school for children between the ages of 5 & 19. It is situated in 13 acres of parkland just a few hundred metres from the sandy beaches of Broadstairs. We seek to meet the needs of children and young people with autism and severe learning difficulties with associated behaviours that may be challenging. We have achieved national recognition for our developments in Communication and Behaviour Management.

Using your experience of working with children and young people with Additional Educational Needs and Challenging Behaviour, you will work alongside colleagues to support a group of students in a classroom setting.

Awareness of the needs of, and experience of working with children and young people with Learning Difficulties, Autism and Challenging Behaviour will be a distinct advantage.
