Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Transport Clerk to join their fast moving Transport Operation based in Snodland, Kent
This is a temp to perm position for the right candidate
Candidates must have a proven track record within a transport office environment
This position will require flexibility as our client is looking to cover both am/pm shifts on a 7 week rota (including weekends)
The role entails:
- Communicating with drivers throughout shift from pre-brief through to de-brief
- Uploading information on to companies transport management system
- Dealing with breakdowns, trailer checks, chasing trailers for MOT / Service
- General administration duties
- Taking incoming calls from customers internal and external
- Liaising with other departments in the business
- Using bespoke transport systems as well as MS Excel/Word/Outlook
A successful candidate will be:
- A team player
- Flexible with working hours
- Confident dealing with both administration and drivers
The rates of pay through the agency will be (PAYE):
- Monday – Friday - £10.50ph
- Saturday - £13.50ph
- Sunday - £14.50ph
- Bank Holiday - £15.00ph
The salary for this role is £23,500 P.A.
