Our client, a large and highly successful organisation based in Mid Kent, is looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant on a 12 month contract. In this role you will be responsible for:
- Processing cashbook/sales journals
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Processing payment runs - mid month & month end
- Processing sales commission payments/ statements
- Raising customer invoices/credit notes
- Customer cash allocation
- Raising purchase orders and coding invoices for relevant overhead costs
- Dealing with ad hoc requests/emails e.g., customer payment queries
- Ad Hoc reporting and generation of information to support other departments
- Supporting the finance team with other tasks as required
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of Microsoft Office, including Excel, strong analytical and organisational skills as well as the ability to communicate to individuals at all levels.
