Supply Chain Coordinator

A well established and growing international manufacturing company offering a niche product range is seeking an experienced supply chain co-ordinator to assist their team.

Duties
*Daily running of the MRP system to generate purchase and work orders to send to suppliers and internal departments
*Maintaining and analysing system stock levels as to sales forecasting needs and container shipping requirements
*Liaising with suppliers regarding delivery lead-times ensuring any changes or delays are efficiently communicated internally
*Alongside the manager, negotiating with suppliers on any price increases or for bespoke requirements
*Maintaining the costing database
*Main point of contact for day-to-day internal purchasing queries

Experience required
*Previous purchasing experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
*Excellent administrative skills with competent use of Microsoft Office (mainly Outlook and Excel)
*Experience using a product database and MRP system (ideal but not essential)
*Self-motivated and organised with excellent attention to detail and can-do attitude
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*A high degree of self-motivation and drive
