Broker Relationship Manager

An opportunity to join an innovative and dynamic Lloyds registered insurance broker and cover holder who provide a diverse range of insurance solutions for risks in the UK and internationally.



The main purpose of this role will be to strategically develop the business of the company through its Broker partners.



Candidates will need to show a proven track record of business development and client relationship management. This experience can be focused on managing wholesale broker network relationships or applicants who manage direct relationships with insured's in a Commercial Account Handler/ Executive capacity.



* Effectively manage a panel of Brokers
* Maintain and develop existing and new profitable Brokers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction
* Implement effective sales planning and performance monitoring for all Brokers
* Develop and maintain good Broker relationships
* Introduce all relevant products and services to Brokers as appropriate
* Develop initiatives, liaising with Brokers, directors/placing brokers, company market and broking teams
* Plan and prioritise personal business liaison activities and broker contact towards achieving agreed business targets, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity
* Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organised marketing activities, e.g. product launches, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing
* Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
* Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships
* Attend and present at external agency meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development
* Contribute to sales team meetings and strategic meetings
