Connect2Staff are working with a specialist school in Westerham who are looking for Student Support Assistants to join their excellent team of care providers.
The role:
This is a specialist school for children and young people between the ages of 4 - 19 with physical disabilities, complex medical needs and associated learning difficulties. We are looking for candidates who can assist with students' daily needs.
This would initially be a temporary role, with potential to become permanent. We are looking for candidates available to work 5 days a week. The usual school day is 08.30am- 16.00pm Monday- Thursday (2pm finish on Friday). However, as the school has residential provisions, the shift patterns vary to assist students with getting up in the morning, or to provide support after school hours and during the night.
The candidate:
* Experience with Personal Care
* Must be trained in Moving and Handling (Practical certificate)
* Professional, calm manner
* Act with discretion at all times
