Commercial Finance Manager | South Kent/Remote | £50k - £60k

A large Kent based Insurance business, who are working remotely, have a vacancy for a Finance Manager to look after their Cost base. In this role, you will be responsible for the Financial and Commercial aspects of costs management and commercial support for the business. You will ensure that the finance function delivers support, challenge & insight for all financial aspects of those businesses. You will be the primary business partner for all cost centres including Operations and will provide ad-hoc support as required to other Group operations areas.

You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with Post Qualified Experience in a similar role. You will bring commercial astuteness and have experience of being a business partner.

Ideal Candidate
• Demonstrable competence of working at Finance Manager level within a commercial Finance capacity
• Able to show significant competence in Budgetary and Financial control, and delivery of outputs
• Strong operational understanding of the business
• Strong accounting skills with a good understanding of control processes
• Good line management and leadership skills with a strong belief in developing people
• Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Accountant with demonstrable Post Qualified Experience
• Up to date technical knowledge of relevant accounting and taxation issues
• Well-developed communication and people skills
• Analytically strong with the ability to challenge and think creatively
