We are looking for someone to join our team to work closely with the Head of Finance. We have seven companies managed at our site. The role will involve:
Posting of invoices/receipts/payments on Sage
Bank and petty cash Reconciliations
Monthly & ad hoc posting of Journals
Monitor & process Expenses
Posting of sales invoices/receipts
Monthly Income Audits & Reconciliations
Processing of prepayments/accruals
Helping the team in covering annual leave
Ad hoc duties requested from Head of Finance
This role would suit a part-qualified AAT accountant/Bookkeeper or qualified by experience. Ideally, they will have a minimum of three years’ experience of working within an accounts department, but not essential.
The ideal candidate must have outstanding attention to detail, be organised and preferably used Sage Line 50 in a previous role. They will be able to work well on their own and in a team. They will be able to respond well under pressure and be able to prioritise their own work. They should be self-motivated, willing to volunteer for new tasks and have a good working knowledge of all Microsoft office packages, in particular, Microsoft Excel.
The position is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
