Marketing Assistant

My client based in Greenhithe has an immediate vacancy for a Marketing assistant. This is an exciting role for a driven marketing candidate who has a desire make a difference in a company.
Main Responsibilities
Coordinating, planning and delivery of the company’s advertising and marketing plans on traditional and digital platforms.
Coordinating, planning and delivery of the company’s product launches in line with the existing and future merchandising and point of sale options.
Coordinating and planning of shows and exhibitions.
Working with our preferred marketing and communications partners to formulate and deliver marketing plans, ideas and solutions.
Effective management of the company’s marketing and data resources.
Work with internal departments and across company to ensure that employees have access to the latest product information.
Supporting the business with day-to-day marketing requirements.
Work closely with the Sample and Merchandising Executive and Area Sales Managers.
Essential Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have previous experience spent in a marketing or related role. A degree or professional marketing qualification is desirable but not essential. Passion, energy and drive are a must. Other essential skills are:
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Excellent organisational skills – managing many activities and demands simultaneously, practical application of a marketing activity plan, ensuring stocks of marketing and product assets.
• Good level of IT skills with the confidence to engage in new media and technologies
In addition to the above we are looking for someone who has the following qualities and attributes:
• A self-starter who can maintain momentum while working unsupervised at times.
• Ability to multi-task – working on a number of projects at a time
• Ability to assess and comprehend the needs of multi-audiences (sales reps, customers, other team members, suppliers)
• Flexibility of work as necessary
