Barker Munro Recruitment Ltd has is recruiting for a Commercial Claims handler to join a Claims Management organisation.
The role will be home based so can be located anywhere in the UK but it will require occasional office visits to either their Kent based or Scotland based office – depending on which one is nearer to you.
Working as a commercial claims handler, the role will be mainly focusing on pubs and restaurants, property damage claims. Managing a portfolio of claims, liaising between internal teams, third party suppliers and policy holders, ensuring that all are updated whenever necessary. Performing basic fraud checks whilst being aware of any details that indicate the need further investigation. Negotiating settlement of claims both verbally and in writing.
We are seeking experienced Commercial Claims handlers with excellent spoken and written communication skills. You will have the tact and assertiveness required when dealing with customers who may be distressed or angry, be accurate with a high level of attention to detail.
