Recruitment Solutions are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative for our client, a manufacturer in Bridge on the outskirts of Canterbury.
Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
Salary: Circa £21,000 depending on experience (permanent role)
Responsibilities include:
• Picking stock items in accordance with the required volumes, accuracy and timeframes
• Packing customer orders in accordance with the required volumes, accuracy and timeframes.
• Processing inbound stock items (goods-in) in accordance with the required volumes, accuracy and timeframes
• Stock taking of warehouse items as required and directed
• Ensure that housekeeping duties are carried out as directed in order to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• General warehouse duties as required or directed.

Skills & Experience Required:
• Basic English, Math’s and IT skills.
• Physically fit – manual handling is a key part of the role.
• Good teamwork skills
• The ability to complete paperwork and count stock items
• An understanding of health and safety regulations
• Honest, reliable, hard working with a “can do attitude”.
• A willingness to work on a flexible basis.
• A Counterbalance Forklift licence would be beneficial but not essential
• This role does have the potential to develop, therefore a strong H&S and IT knowledge would be extremely beneficial.
