We are looking for an experienced part-qualified accountant to join our forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Maidstone. We take immense pride in supporting business owners to grow their businesses and manage their finances.

Our ethos is very ‘hands-on’ and aim to get a real feel of what is important to our clients, all of which are Kent-based. Xero is our preferred accounting software and over the years become experts, providing training to their clients on how to get the most out of the software.

We offer fixed fees, unlimited support to our clients and we do not record time – so no timesheets. Our client's needs are at the forefront of what we do.

Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 5:00 pm, however, there is flexibility for those who require it. There is also free on-site parking available for those who drive.

Our practice is a young, vibrant place to work and will suit anyone looking for a break from the traditional practice.

We will give you as much responsibility as you want to take on and enough support to help you grow into your role.

The main job responsibilities are:

· Managing a small portfolio of clients

· Accounts & Tax Return Production

· Overseeing and reviewing the work of junior accountants

· Creating good internal working relationships to ensure the clients’ needs are met

· Support Client Managers in their role

What we’re looking for:

· 2+ Years Accounting experience in a practice setting

· Minimum AAT Level 4

· Ideal Part ACCA / ACA Qualified

· A good working knowledge of Xero

· High level of numerical and analytical skills

· Excellent rapport building and communication skills
