An exciting opportunity to join a secure specialist manufacturing business based in Swale as a Machinist Fitter. The purpose of the role is to set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and components to agreed and quality standards
The candidate will be expected to use and be trained on a range of equipment such as: mills/lathes/gearcutters/grinders and drills. alongside this use of Auto Lathes will be supported
Capable of using measuring equipment such as vernier calipers/micrometers/gauges etc to tight tolerances and calculate dimensions and tolerances
This role is a physically demanding role and requires a solid understanding of engineering/read drawings/hand fitting and bench skills
