Are you an experienced Design Engineer with proven background seeking a new challenge and looking to be an influential part of a growing successful business.
Our client are a manufacturer who provide their products to the aerospace and technology sectors and are seeking to add to their existing team through continued growth.
Successful applicants will have gained a First Class Degree in the field of Mechanical or Design Engineering and hold at least two years' experience of working in a similar role, and now seeking to step up in their career
The role will see the successful person being involved on full design process for new products from concept to detailed manufactured drawings, material specification and manufactured strategy.
You will hold skills in 3D CAD softare including Autodesk Inventor/Solidworks preferably. Familiarity with both 2D and 3D modelling and significant experience of detailed manufactured BOMs and engineered drawings. Your background in Sheet Metal and Machined products will be supported by knowledge of Mettalurgy/polymers and composites.
This is a Lean/CI manufacturing environment and you should hold demonstrable skills in this area
