Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, Dover, Kent
SEN Teaching Assistant required for an ongoing role in Kent. £70-£85 per day dependant on experience
Your new company
One of our lovely client primary schools in Dover is seeking a Special Educational Needs 1:1 Teaching Assistant to start as of 1st Nov for a minimum of 1 term. This is a wonderful school rated good by Ofsted.
Your new role
This is a full time SEN TA role starting 1st November for at least 1 term.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your job will be to enhance and enrich the learning of the pupil in your care. You will be required to utilise a good knowledge and understanding of what it takes to work with SEN pupils. You will need to be a confident and patient individual who has competent behaviour management skills.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will need to be level 2 or 3 qualified, or qualified by experience, and have experience working within a main classroom environment. Having experience with SEN is ideal, as is having experience and knowledge of working on a 1:1 basis, or with small groups.
You will also need to undergo the full Hays compliance process including DBS check and satisfactory references.
