This role is a vital part of ensuring we are able to satisfy the needs of our customer.
The packaging operative is responsible for keeping the packaging stores clean, tidy and organised on a continuous basis, unloading all new deliveries with a Forklift truck/Barrow and reorganising the space as required. All relevant paperwork such as delivery notes must then be processed as appropriate. There is also an ongoing requirement to help out other departments where required.
This role is physically demanding and a certain level of fitness is required given the intrinsic aspects of the role.
In order to be successful you will need to be self-motivated and meticulous, confident with stock counting and have good IT skills and computer proficiency in order to be able to book stock in.
Working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm.
