Counter Sales/Estimators / North Kent / £23-£25,000

My client, a fantastic business based in North Kent, are looking for a 2 strong Estimators to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

Duties for this position include:

* Registrations: Register all qualified projects to company CRM system.
* Specification: Provide suitable specifications dependent upon the type of project and area. Taking into account any specific approvals or certifications that may be required.
* Estimating: Produce estimates/pricing guides generated by the projects team and customers direct. M
* aintaining and protecting margins.
* Quotations: Ensure all quotations are uploaded onto CRM and are maintained. Management of expired pricing. Preparing presentable quotations to maximise the opportunity potential.
* Value engineering: Alternative Specifications and spec busting revisions. Liaise with Group Projects Manager to ensure spec busting inventory is reflected.
* To ensure the Estimating daily tasks and inbox are kept up to date.
* Develop key relationships with contract client base.
* Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports as required by Group Estimating Team Leader and management team.
* Identification of target price list and maintenance of competitor library.



They are looking for someone with the following:

* Previous experience working within a similar role or counter sales
* Knowledge of the pricing process for customers
* Strong Technical abilities & Communication skills
* Highly skilled in computer skills
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to "think outside of the box"
* A solid CV demonstrating reliability
* Confidence to make decisions
* The ability to pick up technical information
* The ability to multitask
