The Best Connection Employment Group are currently recruiting for multiple Drivers Mate to begin an ongoing assignment for our client based in the New Hythe, Aylesford area.
As a Drivers Mate you will be responsible for:
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Delivering to customer homes
- Manually lifting furniture
- Providing an excellent level of customer service
- Assisting the driver with routes
- Assembling furniture
Successful candidates must be physically fit in order to suit this role. You will be expected to assist with various amounts of heavy lifting throughout the day.
You will be expected to work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern from 07:00 to 19:00.
You will be provided with a 60 minute unpaid lunch break per shift.
You will be paid a basic rate of £9.50 per hour for the first 8 hours of your shift. Any hours completed after the first 8 hours will be paid at an overtime rate of £11.00 per hour.
Also, if you are working any days over the weekend, you will be paid at the £11.00 per hour overtime rate for the entire duration of your shift.
After you have completed 12 weeks of employment, your hourly pay will then be increased to £11.25 per hour.
In return, you will also receive:
- Weekly pay
- 28 days holiday per annum
- Full training & PPE
- Potential permanent position following a successful trial period
