A British design and manufacturer is looking to expand their supply chain team due to expansion.
They are looking to recruit a merchandiser who has a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
Key Responsibilities will Involve:
• Analysing past sales figures/trends to anticipate future product needs.
• Assisting with the development of a merchandising plan
• Relaying the merchandising plan to the buyer who, in turn, can decide on what products, styles, colours etc to purchase and from which suppliers.
• Monitoring stock movement, consider markdowns, promotions or clear outs etc.
• Preparing sales forecasts and profit/loss forecasts
• Managing stock levels
Your Key Skills will Include:
• Strong administration experience, ideally with at least two years in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills
• Good/advanced level Excel skills (adept with formulae, V lookups and calculations)
• A capacity to thrive in a face pace environment and work to tight deadlines
• An ability to work well in a team
• Ideally have completed a CIPs qualification or possess a desire to complete
