This role suits a candidate who is naturally analytical and commercially aware, with the ability to communicate credibly at all levels and problem solve. You will need to be a confident decision maker with strategic experience in technical purchasing/procurement, such as conducting spend and supplier reviews, implementing category management, and much more
In the role you will take on a variety of duties, working as part of a department responsible for all sourcing, procurement and purchasing across a nationally operational business:-
Duties will range:
- Supplier sourcing and evaluation, Spend reviews and analysis implementing principles of category and process management.
- Supply chain planning/management, forecasting and reporting.
- Purchase planning and analysis, and management of purchasing and delivery systems.
Also, you will be involved with leading contact with new and existent suppliers, negotiating/assisting oversee contracts engagement and cost control in order to meet commercial objectives.

Combination of consistent repeat requirements, as well as projects to source new materials/products

Salary up to £34,000 + benefits including full study support, company bonus, free parking in Tunbridge Wells.

For successful consideration on this role, you should have a background in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or operations - any industry type considered.
You must be based within reasonable commute of Tunbridge Wells, and have demonstrable relevant skills such as supplier management, supply chain operations, contracts admin, supply sourcing or similar.
