Microsoft Software Developer

My client is a leading global consultancy, that deliver projects and services to the top firms both in the UK and internationally. They are experiencing rapid growth and are looking for a Project Microsoft Software Developer.

You will assist the team with all aspects of software design and coding. The Microsoft Development team designs, builds and tests its own software products. These range from data utilities to applications – all to provide our clients in the legal sector with additional and useful software functionality

• Assisting with all aspects of software design and coding.
• Attending and contributing to company development meetings.
• Writing and maintaining code.
• Working on minor bug fixes.
• Responding to requests from clients
• Gathering information from consumers about program functionality.
• Writing reports.
• Conducting development tests.
• While it may be useful to have worked in the professional services sector, it is not essential. What is essential is a passion for high quality development work allied with the skills necessary to ensure that it is delivered consistently and to delight their clients with what they do.
• Skills and experience we are looking for:
• Object-oriented programming / .NET development
• JavaScript development
• Microsoft SQL development
• Knowledge of cloud-based development. Microsoft Azure:
o Data factory
o Logic Apps
o Azure Functions
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform:
o PowerApps
o PowerAutomate
o PowerQuery
• Knowledge of Natural Language Understanding and AI
• Ability to work proactively, without close supervision.
• Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills
• Good organisational and analytical skills with an attention to detail
• Flexibility to switch between projects according to business priorities.
