Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an LGV 2 Driver to join their base in Ashford, Kent
When not driving this role will involve some yard work and completing basic servicing of machinery
This role offers an immediate start
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- A full Class 2 licence
- Must have held your licence for at least 3 years
- A valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card
- No more than 6 points or a DD or DR
- Some experience operating plant machinery as this will be the load on the vehicle
- Some experience loading and unloading plant machinery as you will be delivering to the construction industry
- A CSCS card holder would be ideal but this is not essential
The role entails:
- Delivering plant machinery to sites across the region
- Unloading and loading plant machinery as per delivery instructions
- This role will require flexibility of working days (including on call, some nights out and weekends) dependent on the business needs, as shift patterns are likely to change on a weekly basis
- This is a Temp to Perm role whereby you will be initially employed through the agency before transferring, subject to suitability, to the company's direct employ
The hourly rate for this role is:
- Monday to Friday (06:00 - 18:00) = £12.00
- Saturday (All shifts) -= £15.50
- Sunday (All shifts) = £17.00
- Bank Holidays (All shifts) - £17.50
- Nights out UK = £25.00
