SME Commercial Account Handler

As the insurance recruitment specialists in Kent, Barker Munro Recruitment is working with this leading UK based Top 50 Insurance broker, who is looking to recruit an additional SME Commercial Account Handler for their impressive office which offers free parking.
As an Insurance Account Handler, you will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of SME clients encompassing all aspects of insurance broking, such as negotiating renewals with insurers, dealing with day to day client enquiries, identifying cross and up selling opportunities and dealing with MTA’s.
Within your role you will be required to deal with clients on the telephone and in writing and sometimes face to face alongside development executives. The broker handles all elements of the SME insurance market so you will be dealing with a broad range of risks including commercial combined, business interruption, Liability, Personal Accident and Travel to name but a few.
My client is renowned for their staff retention, high calibre service to clients and also their CII study support for staff; this is an excellent opportunity to enhance your career and join a well-respected brand.
To be considered for this opening you will be professional, have some insurance experience and be dedicated to building your career in insurance. You will have previous exposure of delivering high quality customer and client service within this insurance market and ideally be able to show that you have commenced CII studies. Don't worry if you aren't currently a Commercial broker, my client is open minded to accept applications from Underwriters looking to transfer into Broking and for personal lines candidates who are seeking the opportunity to progress into Commercial.
