My client is currently looking to recruit a hands on Head of Accounts who will be working closely with the Managing Director.
You will be responsible for following:
* Preparation and submission of the company VAT return
* Identifying subcontractor invoices and ensuring the correct VAT rate applies
* Preparing monthly CIS returns and issuing subcontractor payment certificates
* Reconciliation of the company bank accounts
* Processing payroll and expenses
* Reconciliation of factoring accounts and submitting relevant accounting information
* Assist with sales ledger and purchase ledger
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or working towards this qualification, experience within VAT/CIS returns and retentions is essential. Experience using Sage would be a benefit.
In return you will be offered a competitive salary depending on experience, yearly bonus and regular company events.
