We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic stock coordinator to join our friendly team in Rainham, Kent to work as part of our fast-paced carry out varying roles and functions supporting the business in arranging and delivering the best level of service possible for our clients life safety and property protection. The scope of responsibilities vary from stock coordination and control of office stock to organising equipment and parts for job allocations whilst ensuring smooth operations in line with our accreditation and client SLA's.

Report to and accountable to: Technical Director
The successful applicant will carry out varying roles and functions supporting the business. The scope of responsibilities varies from managing both inward and outward stock movement, preparing equipment, carrying out stock audits whilst maintaining accuracy and integrity of the store’s inventory records under your direction including all associated documentation for accounting purposes.
Full stock control and updating the management system with deliveries in and parts being assigned to engineers for equipment being shipped or allocated to projects and internal vehicle stock.
Organising the stock and stock locations strategically ensuring that supplies for materials and equipment are kept within recommended holding levels.
Duties and responsibilities:
Full training will be provided
General administration duties as required
Record and update Internal Management Information System accurately
Ensure that all stock records are kept up to date using the internal stock management system.
Prepare stock for collection
Purchase materials as required maximising efficiency and cost savings were possible
Cost comparison and strategic purchasing agreements to be made with relevant suppliers
Receiving deliveries, ensuring correct items are received and assigning the relevant materials as required
Carry out site equipment inspections/tests
Update system with deliveries, processing the delivery notes and allocating to the purchase invoice for issue to the accounts department for supplier’s payment.
Delivering equipment
Ensure all faulty credit stock is returned to supplier in a timely manner, ensuring credits received
Keep your work area and associated stock holding locations clean and tidy
Responsible for quarterly stock take including end of year stock take for accounts.
Produce monthly reports to the Technical Director as required identifying purchasing, values and deliveries taken within the month.
Effective communication is required between yourself, management of the engineering team, office coordinators, minimizing delays in all areas of work and ensure timely ordering and deliveries.
Clean Driving License required
These are illustrative duties and the post holder will be expected to become involved in a range of work to enable the company to respond effectively to the requirements of our Clients.
