EKC is growing!!

We are currently looking for a sharp, articulate and reliable writer to join our small yet mighty team at EKC in Whitstable, Kent.

Essential:

· Minimum three to fours years’ experience working full time with clients in a business environment

· Excellent written English and happy to research and initiate editorials Traditional & Digital

· A desire to learn

· Good work ethic


What the role demands:

Strong, confident telephone manner: interviewing our clients’ clients for clinical and business case studies and testimonials

Ability to rewrite digital and traditional business and clinical articles / editorials / blogs

Initiate new editorials from client briefs – press releases, web copy and articles

Creating / writing clinical and non-clinical articles, as well as business-to-business and consumer press releases

Excellent grammar and articulate proof reading

Ability to create newsletters mainly through programmes like MailChimp

Good working knowledge of social media and enhancing brand awareness outside of advertising

Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to multi-task, prioritise work and meet tight deadlines

Happy to do face-to-face interviews via Zoom & Teams and in person when safe to do so

Attend national exhibitions and conferences when allowed / safe to do so

Happy to work in small company getting involved in all aspects of the business and working closely with colleagues


Desired:

· Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel

· Experience with newsletter building on programmes like MailChimp and Dot Digital

· Driving licence would be beneficial (pool car available for client meetings)

This role is based in Whitstable, Kent. During lockdown, we worked from home, at present we are all back in the office (with covid protocols in place) the working hours are 9am -5:30pm Monday to Friday.
