Do you want to make a difference?

That’s what we do at Imago. We help some of the most vulnerable people in society to make changes and improve their wellbeing.
We’re looking for bright, hardworking people to join our established team in Medway. It’s a great opportunity to support adults who need extra help for all sorts of reasons to navigate their way through health, social care and community services; think about what will best improve their health and wellbeing, and make it happen.

Navigators bring their own experience to the role. You might have worked in a formal setting, completing assessments and support plans, or directly providing social care or health services. Perhaps you have worked or volunteered in a community setting, or are looking to give something back to your own local community. Or maybe you have personal experience of accessing services for yourself, a relative or friend.

It’s a really varied role, and you’ll spend time visiting people in their own homes or in community settings, speaking to individuals and families. You’ll get to know local services, build networks and work in partnership with health teams and other agencies. There are also opportunities to work alongside colleagues in a friendly team so you will feel fully supported in the role.

It’s time to make a change.

Imago is a long established, well respected and effective charity working across Kent, Medway, London and East Sussex to deliver a range of services to individuals, voluntary and community organisations, and the public and private sector.

We deliver a wide range of services in partnership with funders, public sector commissioners and private sector sponsors to children and young people, older people, carers, and volunteers.

Underpinning our work is a commitment to excellence, evidencing impact and safeguarding vulnerable people. Imago recognises its duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of the children, young people and adults at risk who access its services or with whom it comes into contact.

These include: race, religion, creed, colour, national and ethnic origin, political beliefs, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability (including mental illness), HIV status, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity/paternity status, responsibility for dependants, appearance, geographical area, social class, income level or criminal record.

Imago aims to create a culture that respects and values each other’s differences. Imago sees these differences as an asset to our work as they improve our ability to meet the needs of the organisations and people we serve. We proactively seek to increase opportunities for inclusion, and celebrate diversity across our organisation and within the communities we serve.
