Looking to become a Chartered Accountant?

We are offering a graduate trainee role to start this summer. The successful candidate will have an excellent academic background - ideally a 2.1 or higher degree (any degree considered) with an ability to demonstrate strong mathematical and analytical skills. You will initially join our business support and accounts department and study the ICAEW Chartered Accountancy examinations (ACA).

Friend & Grant Ltd are a local practice established for over 25 years old. We are passionate about training our own people, with nine of our current team members in training contracts with the ICAEW, AAT or taking other professional examinations. We use the latest technology and are at the forefront of cloud accounting. We work at a fast pace and you will be expected to adapt quickly and to work and study hard.
The key elements of the remuneration package will be as follows:

Salary £18,000 with an annual review every 1st May.
Opportunity to join the company pension scheme.
28 days holiday - (includes bank holidays) which increases to a maximum of 33 days.
All training costs will be met by the firm and will be largely on a block release basis, i.e. periods of time away from the office studying in a classroom.
