Job Title: Design Graduate (or equivalent)

Location: Near Hythe (Your own transport is required due to the location of the company)

Hours: Monday - Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am - 4:30pm

This position is the perfect entry role for a Design graduate (or equivalent). Your exact job title would be Production Copy Controller and Design Executive. 70% of your role would be chasing copy for adverts from clients (so excellent rapport building skills are a must) and 30% of the time would be designing copy.

The day to day duties in your new job would be:

* Work with a production team assisting the Production & Design Manager to ensure all copy is chased and all deadlines met for a busy sales house.
* Liaise with clients to chase advertising copy, by phone and email and update database
* Check advertising copy thoroughly
* Ability to amend and design artwork for clients a must
* Proof and check pages before going to press
* Liaise with sales, printers and repro on a portfolio of magazines
* Ensure schedules are managed and met, accommodating changes to schedules if necessary
* Work within a small but dynamic team to produce magazines from outset to completion
* Have an excellent telephone manner

Essential skills for this job:

* Indesign and Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat experience
* Experience working within a similar production role
* Knowledge of both MACS and PC's
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail skills
