We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced Administrator/PA or Import Clerk to work for our international client based in the Swale area.
You will be carrying out a variety of roles within the Import and Export team. These will include the daily maintenance of import logs, checking and completing all documentation and monitoring the calculations for import duty.
You will need to investigate any errors and collate and archive all relevant documentation. There will be a lot of liaising with forwarders, customs agents and internal departments and other general administrative tasks.
Previous Import experience is not essential, however a proven background in a busy and challenging administrative role is a must.
You will be fully IT literate and have good Excel skills. A strong communicator with the ability to work alone and think on your feet and excellent attention to detail is a must.
Hours of work are 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday. This is a temporary role initially for 3 months with an immediate start.
