I am currently recruiting for an account manager for a property company based in Maidstone. However the role can be flexible including work from home option.
The duties of an account manager:
Up-sell and Cross-sell the company’s range of products and services.
Develop and manage the relationship of a portfolio of accounts to retain and grow product sales.
Regularly communicate via various mediums with the accounts to ensure service levels and products are delivered to the required standard.
Discuss and present proposed new products with clients.
Understand the profile of each account in terms of business structure, personnel, the marketplace they operate in and the opportunities for product and service sales.
Connecting key personnel together to deliver those products to the accounts.
Create and execute tactical account retention and growth plans.
Attend and contribute to external and internal meetings.
Aligned to the business plan, report on regular basis the account management activity, progress and plans.
Skills and Experience required for an account manager:
Minimum 3 years’ experience and track record in Account Management and product sales.
Good IT skills
Profile – Strong inter-personal skills with a consultative sales approach, rigorous and organised, tenacious, a finisher, target driven - motivated by completing the conversion and then continuing to nurture the relationship beyond the initial sale.
