I am currently supporting a well-established accountancy practice in Folkestone who specialises in general practice, taxation and business advisory services. My client is a successful firm and has a portfolio of clients across all sectors. I am looking for an Accounts Semi-Senior to join their practice, to assist with accounts preparation for limited companies.
What will it entail?
Accounts preparation limited companies
Briefing clients on what accounting records are required for the preparation of their financial statements
Dealing with queries and advising clients
If you are ambitious and / or willing to take on addition responsibilities, you may also get involved with completing corporate tax returns and administering and finalising quarterly VAT returns.
What skills and experience do you need?
Experience working within a small / medium sized practice
Accounts preparation and finalisation experience
Experience of IRIS
IT literate, including strong MS Excel skills
Experience of Digita, Quickbooks Online and Xero (desirable)
Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
