I'm actively recruiting on behalf of a Kent based client who are seeking a Intermediate level Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a Permanent basis.
Due to volume of work they require a Quantity Surveyor with a Contractor background and ideally previous experience working on Healthcare projects (although this isn't essential).
The ideal candidate will:
* Have 5y experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within experience on both New Build & Fit Out projects
* Have a relevant qualification
* Be able to run their own projects working alongside an AQS
* Come from a Contractor background
* Strive to be the best in their field
* Pay excellent attention to detail
* Be able to demonstrate analytical thinking skills
* Have the ability to use your initiative.
Your general day to day duties will include:
* Estimating costs, quantities, and project timelines
* Working alongside and supporting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor
* Providing all information to clients
* Preparing tender and contract documents
* Identifying and weighing up commercial risks
* Liaising with a variety of other teams and helping to keep a project on track.
* Ensuring projects meet legal and quality standards
