FloPlast is a manufacturer and supplier of plastic building and plumbing products to a portfolio of customers that include builders and plumbers merchants, plastic stockists and roofing merchants.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Environmental Health and Safety Technical management team.

We are currently looking to appoint a Environmental Health and Safety and Technical Apprentice
Hours of Work:-
Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.

You will receive in house training and external training to gain a Safety Health and Environment Technician Level 3 qualification. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship you may be offered a permanent position.

Working in a team environment you will be responsible for assisting the QUESH Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the Company’s Health & Safety and Environmental systems. To include undertaking routine inspections, reporting and investigating workplace accidents, incidents or near misses and ensuring statutory records are maintained. You will also assist the Technical Manager in relation to general administration tasks to include preparation of material schedules and quotes and support with the claims and complaints system.

Candidates should be self-motivated, accurate and have good communication skills. A basic understanding of IT along with Maths and English of Level 4 or above (or equivalent) is required.

This position offers a weekly wage of £212, Christmas bonus, pension scheme (subject to conditions) & 22 days holiday p.a.
