Trainee Accountant job East Kent £23k-£25k DOE. Ideally AAT qualified or recent Accountancy degree

You will be working for an established organisation based in the East Kent area. The Trainee Accountant job will suit a recent Accountancy & Finance graduate or AAT qualified candidate with some experience of working within a finance department.

Your new role
You will be reporting into the Finance Manager and responsible for monitoring, analysing and reporting on the project costs incurred by the business and its subsidiaries. You will assist the monthly management reporting process, assist on the formation of the annual fixed asset budget, maintain the fixed asset register and prepare all journals relating to fixed assets including asseting, disposals and depreciation. You will assist in the preparation of schedules that form part of the tax computations, prepare schedules where required for the annual external audit and provide information within agreed timescales to all customers (both internal and external).

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a recent Accountancy & Finance graduate or AAT qualified with experience working in a finance team including some of the tasks above. you will have experience of computerised accounting systems and excellent Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary in the region of £23k - £25k plus benefits. This position will be working in an office environment (when safe to do so), but for now, time is split working from home and in the office when needed
