Our client near Ashford, are currently looking for a full time Financial Accountant to join their busy finance team, working closely with the Group Financial Accountant.
Duties will include:
* Monthly review of P&L
* Completion of monthly management reports
* Prepare year end schedules for the external auditors
* Completion of regulatory returns, statutory operational audits and ONS surveys
* Reconcile control accounts for selected subsidiaries
* Assist with the maintenance of the fixed asset register
* Preparation of prepayments, accruals and nominal journals
* Undertake revenue reconciliation
* Manage nominal ledger
* Review company VAT returns
* Authorising payment runs
* Improve processes and procedures
* Assist with monthly reviews
* Other ad-hoc duties when required
Suitable candidates will be studying a recognised accounting qualification (ideally ACCA/ACA)
Previous experienced gained from a similar role is essential.
