Do you have experience managing highway contracts?

Have you previously carried out site survey's in a previous role?

I am delighted to be exclusively working with a business in the construction industry on this new and varied role. They are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager who will be able to hit the ground running and run their highways grounds maintenance contracts and also price and manage other grounds maintenance projects for the business. In this role your time will be split between the office and site where you will be required to carry out surveys, manage a team of contractors and attend client meetings.

Duties

* Managing a team of contractors to make sure the contract runs smoothly
* Attending site visits and client meetings
* Pricing for works across the business
* Ensuring compliance with all internal and external HSQE requirements, standards and accreditations are met
* Managing the issue and return of all appropriate paperwork
* Assisting with audits
* Team leading



Requirements

* Experience & knowledge of Highway Contracts
* Contract Management and management of a team
* Great communication skills
* Full UK driving license
* You will be required to do weekend & evening work
