This is an exciting opportunity for an office-based salesperson with the ability to influence sales growth in Commercial Sales Department of our Client.
The role will predominantly be to, once trained on all styles of products on offer, produce full and complete quotations from tender enquiries received into the department by ensuring all requirements of the tender submission have been completed incl Bill of Quantities, Submission Forms etc.
The role requires good attention to detail, flexibility and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills together with persistence and resilience are key success drivers. An ability to think quickly and clearly will be required.
A good all round education and strong computer skills are crucial to carrying out duties efficiently and effectively; a construction, estimating or sales background would be desirable but is not crucial as full training will be provided.
Hours of work to be 9am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday, with a 1 hour lunch break.
Duties will include:
Respond to all Customer enquiries and complete tenders for prospective clients.
Regularly receive and make calls to increase sales enquiry and sales opportunities.
Maintain the ECRM customer database.
Maintain the TM1 tender database.
Form relationships with prospective and repeat customers.
Process quotations to orders.
Work with other internal departments to achieve customers’ expectations.
Perform other duties as reasonably requested by your manager, from time to time.
