HRGO are recruiting for a client in Ashford who are looking for an experienced Import / Export Logistics Coordinator. As an Import / Export Logistics Coordinator, you will support the Site Transportation Manager in the day to day operations. Knowledge and experience with Customs is also essential for this position.
Daily Requirements
*
Collaborate with customs to ensure compliance with import and export regulations
*
Work in conjunction with customs brokers to ensure all required customs clearance procedures and documentation are correct and within time
*
Monitor compliance of all documentation with transport regulations
*
Managing SAP system to ensure shipments are going ahead at the correct time and date
*
Coordinate and manage transport invoices
The ideal candidate:
*
2 - 4 years logistics experience in logistics in a manufacturing environment
*
Customs experience essential
*
Has excellent communication skills and demonstrates self-awareness
*
Is adaptable and flexible
*
Excellent customer service experience
*
Ability to work under pressure and deal with ambiguity
*
Excellent attention to detail
*
An efficient personality with strong time management and customer skills
*
SAP knowledge
