Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an LGV 2 Driver to join their base in Medway.
When not driving this role involves some yard work and completing basic servicing of machinery
This role offers the chance for an immediate start
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience
- Held your licence for at least 3 years
- Valid CPC and digital tachograph card
- Experience operating plant machinery as this will be the load on the vehicle
- Experience loading and unloading plant machinery is essential as you will be delivering to the construction industry
- A CSCS card holder would be ideal but this is not essential
This role entails
- Delivering plant machinery to sites across the region and will involve the safe loading and unloading of plant machinery as per delivery instructions.
- This role will require flexibility of working days (including some nights out and weekends) dependant on the business needs, as shift patterns are likely to change on a weekly basis
This is a 'Temp to Perm' role whereby you will be initially employed through the agency before transferring, subject to suitability, to the company's direct employ
The hourly pay rate for this role:
- Monday - Friday (06:00 - 18:00) = £12.00
- Monday - Friday (18:00 - 06:00) = £13.00
- Saturday (All shifts) = £15.50
- Sunday (All shifts) = £17.00
- Bank Holiday (All shifts) = £17.50
- Nights out UK = £25
