Connect Personnel are seeking Temporary Assembly Operators for our manufacturing client based in Gillingham.
Duties include:
Perform all tasks allocated by the Line Leader
Quality of work must be to the required standard.
Comply with company rules at all times.
Observe precautions and obey hazard warnings.
To use the tools and equipment provided in the correct and safe manner.
To actively participate in quality and job performance improvement programmes.
To keep the working area clean and tidy.
To report hazard or potential hazards immediately
You will be required to perform manufacturing tasks required during the manufacture of the companies products.
You must be highly motivated and have a passion to contribute to the success of the company.
Ideally you will have GCSE's in Mathematics and English - desirable
Training will be provided as required
Previous experience in a manufacturing company
Good oral and written communication skills
An analytic approach to problem solving
A good thinker and active listener
Good times management skills
Good problem solving skills
Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn about new processes
A Dexterity test will be required upon interview should you be successful.
Hours of working: Monday to Thursday, 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm (rotating shift) Friday's 6am-1pm (on early shift) 1pm-8pm (on late shift)
Rate: £9.68 per hour
