The Best Connection are currently seeking a Class 2 HIAB Driver to fill a position in Dartford. The successful candidate will possess both a current and valid Class 2 Licence and in date HIAB Certificate. You must have experience using both.

You will be tasked with the delivery and collection of specialised timber materials in the south east area. The vehicle is a flatbed so previous experience/knowledge of ratchet strapping is a must. As you will be meeting with company clients, good customer service skills are a must.

Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work. 7am start time with a scheduled 4pm finish.

Responsibilities of the Class 2 HIAB Driver

Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.

Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner and prepare to return home.

Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner.
Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

Requirements of the Class 2 HIAB Driver

Category C Class 2 Licence
Class 2 Driving experience
In date HIAB Ticket
Current and in date CPC & Digicard
Verifiable references

Compensation of the Class 2 HIAB HGV Driver

The starting salary for this position is up to £13.50 hourly, depending on experience.
