Do you want to make a positive impact?

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team delivering Children and Young People services, bringing our successful SAFE project to schools and community organisations.

SAFE is an innovative mental health and wellbeing programme that empowers young people to talk about their feelings and ask for help, build resilience and take positive action to support their wellbeing.

We are looking to extend the service to new areas and communities, schools and colleges. You will engage with key people, developing relationships, demonstrating impact and securing buy-in and funding for the project.

You will then deliver the programme, developing and selecting resources to meet the needs of children and young people to build resilience, reduce stigma and improve wellbeing; delivering in person sessions in schools and community settings. You will support and train older students and young people to become SAFE ambassadors to offer peer-to-peer support.

Applicants should have relevant personal or professional experience of working with children and young people in social care, health, education or voluntary and community sectors; as well as an understanding of issues relating to mental health and wellbeing.

You should have excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
The role covers Kent and you will need your own car for travel.

You can make the difference for now and the future.
