We are looking to recruit an experienced Press Setter to work in a busy Press Shop.
The main responsibilities in this position will be to ensure that the presses and any other related equipment are set in a safe and reliable way whilst maintaining optimum production levels. Working to daily / weekly schedules to ensure that operators and other resources are being used in the most efficient manner to meet the required targets. You will also be responsible for the serviceability and safety of all equipment and machines used by staff within the section.
You will need to:
* Be able to read engineering drawings;
* Have the ability to use specialised measuring equipment;
* Have a good working knowledge and understanding of power presses;
* Have a good understanding of how to set power presses;
* Be press guard trained;
* Have a good problem-solving ability;
* Attention to detail;
* Must be flexible and have good communication skills.In return, to company offers the opportunity to develop a good career within with competitive rates of pay, death in service benefit after 12 months employment, company contributory pension scheme and free parking with a friendly, supportive and approachable management team in a customer focused company.
* Monday to Thursday starting at 8am finishing at 5pm and on Fridays starting at 8am finishing at 1pm.
* This is a full-time permanent position working a 39-hour week.
