As a Support Worker you will assist the service users in every aspect of their daily lives. Through a person-centred approach you will enable them to feel valued, reach their potential and nurture their aspirations.
Support Worker responsibilities:
* Supporting service users in all aspects of their daily lives, including personal care
* Administering daily medications
* Attending medical appointments with service users
* Accompanying service users to appointments, activities and shops
* Ensuring a consistency of care for all service users at all times
* To ensure all requisite records are accurately maintained
* Supporting the design, implementation and updating of individual service user care plans
* Driving house vehicles
* Some elements of the role will include lone working in the Home
This full time Support Worker role will based on:
* 162.5 hours per month
* Working variable shifts allocated on a monthly rota (including 0900-2200 with Sleep in followed by 0630-0930 and 0800-1930 day shifts (incl. weekends)
Prior knowledge or experience would be beneficial but is not essential. Comprehensive training will be provided.
A Full UK driving licence is essential.
