If you have strong data and analytical skills, coupled with the ability to build relationships, this role working with colleagues to make the most of data within the division could be an ideal opportunity for you.
The role will see you taking responsibility for improving data literacy and providing high level analytical and reporting capability, ensuring that operational and strategic decisions taken with the division are driven by comprehensive, quality assured data. While collaborative working with a range of stakeholders is an important feature of the role, you will have a large degree of autonomy with the scope to develop your skills by driving business process improvements.
As Business Information Officer you will:
develop and present management information reports relating to the Division’s key metrics and drawing insight from a range of data to support decision making
establish, develop and maintain systems and processes required for the monitoring and reporting of key metrics for internal monitoring, planning and statutory purposes
communicate a variety of data to a range of stakeholders within and beyond the Division, establishing and developing relationships with academic and professional service staff
support the development of a culture of performance management across the Division
To be successful in this role you will need:
a degree in a relevant field or equivalent
experience in quantitative data analysis, working with large databases and systems
evidenced ability to conduct statistical analysis, draw meaning from the results and convey quantitative information to a wide audience
excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work confidently with people at all levels.
