The Maintenance Technician will work as part of the Maintenance Team undertaking all maintenance and building tasks to assist in the compliance, refurbishment and repair of Castle and estate buildings and services.
Reporting to the Hard Services Manager, the successful applicant undertake preventative and corrective maintenance of the Castle and estate buildings and infrastructure to ensure compliance. Good experience of all aspects of the building trade is required.
They will Inspect, identify and determine the extent of allocated works to use appropriate techniques, materials and tools to undertake the work using methods of good practice, to the required standard and legislation.
They will use computer maintenance management system (CMMS) and mobile devices to report and record all work activity accurately. This will also include all administrative duties required to fulfil the role.
To succeed in this role the successful applicant must demonstrate a positive, proactive and flexible approach in delivering a high quality customer-focused service to staff and visitors to the Castle and Grounds.
